UX Scene Designathon 2022
A free online design competition for students and aspiring designers
The UX Scene Designathon 2022 is a no-code free online design competition from October 14-16, 2022 that aims to help aspiring UXers and interested students practice, collaborate, and learn more about the field. Participants are given three prompts and will go through the design process to make a final prototype.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
This designathon is no-code. It is geared toward UX designers, UX researchers, UX writers, and product managers. The submission is strongly recommended to include at least parts of the UX design process from research, ideation, design, testing, and iteration. Projects can be screen based, non-screen based, involve a physical product… etc. A final prototype is required. Any platforms that are used to create the design is welcome as long as it can be viewed by anyone without special software to download.
No level of experience is necessary, only an eagerness to design.
Please submit a link to a Figma file showing 1. the steps you (and your group) took to get to your final design and 2. the final prototype. Make sure the Figma file is viewable for all. A video presentation (up to 4 minutes long max.) is strongly recommended but not required.
Participants may work alone or up to groups of 5. In a group, one person will submit for the entire group and include the names of the group members in the submission.

RULES
Participants must be 16 or older to participate.
*Previously, this designathon was for US residents only, but we have opened it up for non-US participants to join. International participants are welcome :)
Before the official start of the designathon, participants may only brainstorm ideas and plan what they will be doing once the designathon starts. They may not start doing any work for the project until the designathon starts on October 14 at 12 pm PST.
All submissions must be submitted to Devpost by October 16, 2022 at 12 pm PST. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Do not copy designs or any work from any sources, they must be original.
The project can only be made by participants.
Teams can receive advice from UX Scene Directors and other designathon participants, but no outside mentorship.
By participating, UX Scene can use any designs or work produced by participants for the designathon in marketing materials, on their website, on their social media etc. without notification.
Participants must follow rules listed in the Discord server and any competition rules.
